encourage continued growth and interest in
barrel futurities;
promote and reward the dedicated riders,
trainers and owners of futurity horses in Eastern Canada;
raise the standard of competition;
assist show producers in organizing quality
futurities;
work on the betterment of conditions and
rules governing ECBF approved futurities;
consider for approval any barrel futurity
that meets the association’s requirements and whose location
falls within Eastern Canada, meaning Ontario, Quebec and the
Maritime Provinces; and
